The Queen House project boasts a welcoming and open kitchen ready for entertaining family and friends. This new kitchen includes a freestanding prep island, and a seated peninsula perfect for conversation while cooking. By removing a dividing wall between the kitchen and living room, we were able to achieve an open concept kitchen and flood the space with natural light. This project also included enclosing the previous formal dining room into a new study complete with custom built-ins. Adjacent to the kitchen is a completely updated utility room including custom storage along with a new powder bathroom. The materiality of this project remained timeless with classic finishes and fixtures to maintain the integrity of the home's existing traditional style. Cream cabinets, neutral quartzite countertops and black hardware create the timeless backdrop for a forever classic space.
