The Sage Haus renovation encompassed the kitchen, living room, and part of the home’s downstairs. Unique to this home was its concrete block construction. This is not typical in most residential Houston homes and meant we had to think out side of the box for some modifications including the reworking of the homes HVAC system throughout the home. In the kitchen we raised the ceiling height helping showcase the beautiful wood beams that brought warmth to this space and its surrounding living spaces. The new kitchen layout maximized storage and created a better flow of appliances for efficient meal prep. Luxury vinyl plank flooring was used throughout the downstairs to allow for easy cleaning and durable living with the family’s kids and animals on this property with acreage. A combination of prefab and custom cabinetry was used to achieve a beautiful look while being as cost effective as possible. Soft greens and light neutrals were utilized to make for an inviting and cozy aesthetic, perfect for welcoming friends and family.
